Field Notes

Description:

Fairly large very distinctive long-horned beetle.

Habitat:

Beside the road in a rural area just below Fraser's Hill. I would guess secondary forest.
Altitude 625 m.

Notes:

Seen on the least successful day ever for me on trips to see creatures, so very welcome.

Sorry I had not done that already. I have recently returned from a superb trip to Peru. Incredible for butterflies but many other great insects too.
I still have my little secrets...
Thanks Dominik. I have no idea how you got it. I read that it is quite rare, but do not know if it is true. Certainly there are few photos of a live one.
