Drosera lanata is known as a 'wooly sundew' due to the fine silver hairs covering all of its leaf-stems. At the end of each furry stem is a small round leaf covered in red, dewy tentacles. As with other sundews, insects become stuck to these sticky tentacles and are slowly digested.
