Description:
Beautiful and hairy Caddisfly about 7 mm long with a green thorax. Order Trichoptera.
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters. We are very close to the mountain wetlands of the San Cristobal valley. The larvae of Caddisflies are aquatic and make little cases for themselves held together with silk that they produce from salivary glands.
