Field Notes

Description:

A small grey skink with small pale flecks on back and tail and a broad lateral band of black. The head almost always looks a beautiful copper colour and the back, a lovely shade of greenish-blue.

Habitat:

Suburban garden. These are the most commonly seen skinks in our gardens

Notes:

A slightly different looking skink which can also be seen in Victorian gardens is the delicate skink ( Lampropholis delicata), seen in this spotting
