Field Notes

Habitat:

spotted feeding on Iphiona scabra plants in a coastal desert wadi

Notes:

We have been waiting to see these moths around! Their caterpillars were quite abundant in our desert wadis about 6 weeks ago: (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/19477019) and (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/18768026)
The first photo was taken of a moth that was stuck in a Desert Nettle plant, Forsskaolea tenacissima. I snapped this one photo, freed the moth, and off he went! We then saw several more darting between the flowers as they fed.
