Description:

This mature Cooper's Hawk was sitting on the bird feeder at Eden Mill Nature Center. A lot of Mourning Doves and other yummy birds feed on the seed on the ground below the feeders; this Cooper's Hawk must have been looking for an easy meal.

Habitat:

A wooded park next to Deer Creek, habitats range from wetlands, to forest, to meadow.
