Metaplastes katydid

My husband is a primary school teacher, and yesterday his school went for an excursion and I was invited to join them, and the children were screaming at one point, and the reason was that cute catydid. I took it to my hand and photographed it, and then I explained them that this insect is just an innocent and harmless , that it was just a male bush cricket, and we named him Mitsos (a very common Greek name).
We released him back in the wild, and hope his life will be easy and smooth from now on. Spotted in the northern banks of Othrys mountain, Greece.
