i found this in my backyard...i guess it fell off from the drumstick tree...it was about 3 to 4 inches in length... it may look a little scary but it was a slow creature, didn't see much harm.... ;)

I hope you find an ID for this caterpillar - I like the sprays of setae along the sides - very well camouflaged too. Could you please tell us where you found it and how big it was ?
