Earthworm
-16.8761, 145.731
Field Notes
Description:
An Earthworm’s whole throat slides down inside of its body and in doing so, it sucks in its food. Apparently, you can hear the gurgling noises of the their movement underground and in some soils there can be 400 worms every square meter (every step you take).
Earthworms are also considered a delicacy for the Māori chiefs of New Zealand.
They would make great plumbers, and Belly dancers, and if you put them together, you have a great science fiction movie monster (especially if they attacked from under the ground).
