Description:

The Burrowing Owl is small. As an adult, measures up to 23cm to 27 cm and weigh between 170 grams and 214 grams. It has a wingspan of 53 cm and 61 cm. He has a round head, his eyes are bright yellow, its beak is gray, the wings are usually brown with several yellow spots.

Habitat:

It occurs from Canada to Tierra del Fuego, as well as in almost all of Brazil, but with the exception of the Amazon. They usually live in fields, pastures, marshes, deserts, plains, beaches and airports.
