Description:

The flower of this plant appeared like Bloodroot, Sanguinaria canadensis, but had only yellow anthers, whereas Bloodroot has yellow anthers and yellow filaments. The leaves were also numerous and not just one as in Bloodroot.

Habitat:

Right by the roots of a tree.

Yes, Bayucca, I agree and love it! For plants in Croatia I'm really sure, but it's not easy find the right ID for plants in USA, so sometimes rather let others do that ;D
