Description:

Neoscona adianta (Bordered Orbweaver) is a medium-sized orb-web spider (up to 8mm long) with pairs of bold white, oblique marks down the centre of the belly, and with a dark stripe running down the thorax and the head.
The pictured spider was spotted on its nest, between the grasses, in Othrys mountain, Greece.
