Field Notes

Description:

Redish brown body and head. Blue wings

Habitat:

Found dragging it's prey under our house.

Notes:

could not get a pic that showed the blue wings my eye was seeing. If I got too close the wasp would drop the spider. At least that allowed me to get a better pic of the spider. A wolf spider, Hogna antelucana. The small spider was attracted by the action.
