Description:

We found it dying on the pathway at the forest.. Any ID suggestion? I wonder how big it will be if the leech is full of blood..

Your astute observation about the leech's unusual greenish hue sparks curiosity, reminiscent of the Horse Leech - Haemopis sanguisuga. The mystery deepens with the question of how you discerned the leech's demise, adding an intriguing layer to your exploration of the natural world.
Well, I searched for leeches of Indonesia and came up with this green one, courtesy Google. https://www.dlium.com/2020/04/giant-green-leech-raksasa-hijau.html
It only moved a bit and limped.. maybe one one stepped on it before i saw it..
It looks greenish...the only greenish leech I have heard of is Horse Leech - Haemopis sanguisuga but I have NO idea if it is found in Indonesia. How did you know the leech was dying...?
