Field Notes

Description:

What I believe to be a Killdeer

Habitat:

In and around a large slough that's separated by a one-lane dirt road, surrounded by state land, farm fields and marsh

Notes:

Every time I clicked my camera this Killdeer would bob its head in an up and down motion but I'm not sure why. I believe this Killdeer was looking for insects or vegetation in the shallower ends surrounding the slough
