Pinkish flowers, ~ 7 cm across, on shrub ~ 30 cm tall.

Habitat:

Pacific Northwest urban park.

Notes:

Spotted alongside a foot path in Angle Lake Park, Seatac, Washington

Hi Allen! Pretty spotting. These are not the Wild Rose though. These are a species or cultivar of Hellebore, which although often called Christmas Rose or Lenten Rose, is not a species of rose at all, but a hellebore. I have several in my garden but none as pretty as this!
