Description:

A light grey feather.

Habitat:

Found in our forest in Albion under the trees, Maple Ridge,BC, North America. Temperate rain forest.

Notes:

My little sister found this feather and the nest in the background.

Thanks Heather R and ForestDragon for your help. I have added a picture of the front of the feather. The nest has nothing to do with this spotting.
1) What size is it? If it's large it could be a goose or some such type bird; if it's smaller it could be a jay, a gull, etc. 2) Was the feather in the nest, or are they separate finds?
Nice find. I have moved this to the Birds section for you. I do not think this is a crow feather as it is not black. It is possible that it is a gull feather (looking at the shape). Do you have any more images so we can see the other side?
