Description:
Extremely common bird found in most all of North America. This one is a male as determined by his brighter colors. Females are more of a plain brown overall. House sparrows have lived around people for centuries and are easy to overlook due to the fact that there are so many and we are so used to seeing them.

Urban area. Washington DC
