Description:

Feeding on flowers around the BnB lodge where we were staying in the jungle.

Habitat:

Equatorial lowland rainforest.

A beautiful butterfly....beautiful colors....
Yes. The males of Borneo Birdwing have darker forewings while the females have white forewings.
Thaks Chun, I have corrected the names. I see the Borneo Birdwing has darker upper forewings.
Awesome shots Malcolm! This is a T. amphrysus (male) which is found in several SE Asian countries. It is similar to Troides andromache but T. andromache is rare and found in higher elevations too.
