Description:

Small mite, body length 1mm, long hind and fore legs. It can move quite quickly with those long legs.

Habitat:

On vegetation at edge of forest. James Cook University Cairns QLD

That's a couple of leads for me to continue researching this little beasty. Thanks Harsha!
Right Andrea. It has long legs. I am confused. It could be a spider mite or bark mite. We still don't have an ID i guess.
I did consider Trombidium initially but couldn't find a pic where the legs were so much longer than the body. So Harsha, thank you very much with the assistance with the ID. Much appreciated!
