Description:

Low growing plant. Leaves divided into 3 leaflets with a stalked terminal leaflet. Hairy stems. Tiny yellow round or oblong flower clusters.

Habitat:

Sunken Meadow State Park, New York. Growing on the edge of a ball field. Grows in fields, roadsides and waste places.

Notes:

Introduced from Europe. All parts of this plant can be eaten raw or cooked. Pea family.
