Description:

Black with red bill. When I took picture the swan was with its 3 chicks, which had not yet developed the black plumage. Relatively rare in England but more common in its native Australia.

Hi Jamie! To comply with formats and the purpose of this site you should create a new spotting for the second photograph. Thanks!
Photo No. 1: is a beautiful photo....a beautiful Black Swan....
Thanks for that Jamie. I'll stop searching for bugs then. (programmatic ones)
Mark, I spotted it in 2016 but saw the same one in 2018, it never really leaves the same spot=) I recently updated it with new photos which is why it says 2018=D
Hmm.. I wonder if they interbreed. Interesting how you spotted it in 2018 and submitted it in 2016... must look into that. :D
Hi Jamie! Although introduced and relatively rare, the Black Swan is actually found in various locations in the UK: www.nonnativespecies.org/downloadDocument.cfm?id=363
