Field Notes

Description:

Large green caterpillar with lateral red and white stripes. Has urticating hairs that are able to cause irritation.

Habitat:

Found in front of some shops in Boca Raton, FL.

Notes:

It looked to have an injury to the head.
I brought it home and it pupated. I hope it ecloses.
