Description:

The Pallas' Sailer (Neptis sappho) is a nymphalid butterfly found in Eastern Europe, Russia, India and other parts of temperate Asia and Japan.

It is beautiful to see these butterflies in flight, they fly, then glide, with movements that seem jerky, then fluid as they glide.
