Field Notes

Description:

It can grow to 38 cm long. It has numerous reddish to nearly black bands with white lines in between. Long feathered-like pectoral fin rays with light and dark bands, dark spotted dorsal, anal and tail fins.

Habitat:

Night dive in House Reef, Lankayan Island, Sabah.
