Description:
Mostly brown in color with distictive eyespots and orange bars on the wings. Other colors are buff, black and light brown.
Habitat:
Can be located by types of host flowers such as aster, chickory, Dogbane, peppermint that have sunny locations with low vegetation and some bare ground.
