Description:

Nephila clavipes is a species of giant wood spiders only found in warm places throughout America. Its coloration can vary from green to orange, they have a white furry head and fur in the middle of the legs, this doesn´t only help the spider to move smoother through the web but also to catch its prey more effectively. In this species, just as most spider species, the female is a lot bigger than the male.

Habitat:

Tropics

Notes:

This spider ate a really big Cicada while I was in there. It was amazing!
