Description:

This colorful springtail is just 1.5mm. I found it under bark on a large cottonwood log in the woods.

Thanks bee. I look for all sorts of insects and find the tiny ones the most interesting. It took me a minute to see this one after I peeled back the loose bark. When it started moving I spotted it.
