Description:
These adult treehoppers measure 1/4" or less. They are among the largest and most conspicuous of all treehoppers, and are often brilliantly colored. They are distinguished by the elevated, leaf-like pronotum, which is strongly flattened laterally. The entire body is generally like an arched plate. The frontal tibiae are broadly flattened.
Habitat:
These were found on tropical almond trees at 900 meter elevation. Tropical rainforest in an urban setting with wet and dry seasons.
