Field Notes

Description:

Large Nudibranch of at least 30 cm in size. Mostly grey brown in colour with appendages all over and large cerata. They have a strange 'mouth', I think called oral-hood, which they can stretch on the sandy bottom to filter feed.

Habitat:

Sandy bottom and rubble bottom where they are very well camouflaged when not moving.
