Field Notes

Description:

Females lack bright plumage. They are generally grey above, with a pale olive tinge, and paler grey below, with a buff wash. The bill is dark brown and the legs grey-brown

Habitat:

This is the female of a pair that have been visiting my backyard on and off over the last few months. We had a bad storms over the last few days which has brought out a lot of insects
