Thanks!! Learned a lot. I couldn't get closer for obvious reasons so that was the best photo i could get.
Hello fernandez.leovanny and Welcome to Project Noah! I can't see enough of your spotting to be certain but I'd say this is an alligator rather than the American crocodile. While your spotting is at the extreme edge of the range for the crocodile (if you've plotted it accurately), (http://ecos.fws.gov/speciesProfile/profile/speciesProfile.action?spcode=C02J ), it prefers coastal areas and is quite rare. And while color is not a definitive trait, it is often a good predictor if other characteristics are supportive, and this dark color looks more like an alligator for this size.
