Field Notes

Description:

Very large mushroom growing from the bark of a tree. I guess that its wavy look is due to the fact that it is getting dry. Anyway, there are some other sprouts coming (photo #4), and I'll try to keep an eye on them, to see how they develop.

Most probably this is a Leucocoprinus species. Very slender mushroom, with thin flesh. It also has a partial veil resulting in a annulus (ring around the stem) and it has a scaly cap. White spored mushroom.
Nice one Xará,let the new one grow, follow them, and when the cup is open but not drie, cut one cup and put it under a black paper, any non plastified paper and let pass 4\6h and you will be surprise, with the spore print,it's easy and clean, with that maybee Randy can id it
