Description:
Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Noctuinae, Tribe: Xylenini. Swordgrasses, Pinions, and Xylenine Sallows. A common thick-bodied bright light and dark orange moth. Circle spot on each wing. Total Length: 18-20 mm. Hosts: Witch hazel and ironwood. (It's in a little rough shape, but still very colorful.
Habitat:
Woodlands, but comes to porch light.
