Great pic ! Take a look at this one, very similar, from Ecuador : http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/22246103 (I am still unable to identify it).
but this is in Mexico so maybe Northern Bluet Enallagma annexum http://fwp.mt.gov/mtoutdoors/HTML/articles/portraits/damselfly.htm
looks like a common blue damselfly to me! Enallagma cyathigerum :)
