Muchas gracias pkramer por la identificación de la foto. Hice la foto justo antes de entrar en el Parque Nacional –he añadido la foto previa con manglares y la siguiente con el cartel del Parque. He cambiado la foto por otra de más calidad para que pueda ver la cola colgando detrás de la rama.
Hi Keoni, thanks for your comment. Yes, there is a "Green Iguana" (Iguana iguana), widely distributed on the American continent. This here, however, is the Galapagos Marine Iguana (Amblyrhynchus cristatus), which only occurs on that Archipelago and is predominantly black, but is not generally called "Black Iguana". - Check it out on the web, follow us on facebook.com/darwinfoundation.
