Thank you for your help LivanEscudero. This is indeed an Florida Ivory Millipede. Thank you for your help on my other spottings as well!! :)
Oh and I don't know the parameters of the mission you've submitted this to, but though millipedes, like insects are Arthropods, millipedes are not insects (lots more than 6 legs). They are Myriapods.
Another very nice spotting! The school where I teach is overrun with the following introduced species http://bugguide.net/node/view/103681 The rusty millipede, another exotic, is also everywhere down here. So great spotting a native.
