Field Notes

Description:

This was a small solitary bracket fungus, about 50mm wide. The surface of the bracket appeared to be thrown into crusty white folds. Droplets of amber liquid were seen on the white surface.

Habitat:

Spotted at the base of a tall eucalyptus tree in a damp gully.
