Description:

Also known as Australian Mealybug and Fluted scale.
This is a picture of a young female.
They seldom move although they have full functional legs.
For the matured females, there is the white waxy secretions attached. The white material will be used as egg-sac. See here for the mature female: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/11489473

Notes:

Males are rare for this species. Females can self-fertilize in reproduction.
