I did want to get all angles but i didn't want to disturb it too much. Yes it was on a large fig branch that had fallen :)

Cool. It's a good idea to get the under shots for fungi (if possible) as often much of the ID info is there. Being a gilled 'bracket' type should help. I don't suppose you remember the type of timber :-] ?
