Field Notes

Description:

Transparent wings with 40-44 mm wingspan. Body Black and yellow.

Habitat:

These dragonflies are found near muddy puddles, ponds, lakes and streams. Also found in gardens with water features. They prefer still water for laying eggs. Flies close to ground.

Notes:

Found throughout the year.
