Field Notes

Description:

Blue head, back, wings and tail. Wings will have two white bars. There ares some darker feathers also on the wings.
Chest is rufous color and white belly. This one has black in front of the eyes to look almost like a mask.
Bill is short and thick.

Habitat:

This one was spotted on a chaparral hillside.

Notes:

Wish I had better focus on this but it took off right after I took the shots. Hopefully I will see another one soon.
