Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized parrot endemic to eastern Australia. The males have a bright red head, breast and underside while the females are mottled green.

Habitat:

Eucalpyt forest, rainforest, wooded areas.

Notes:

Taken at the Australian Reptile Park.
