Thanks.. unfortunately home is rarely "my area" anymore being military which also stifles my desire to buy non digital books anymore and field guides are surprisingly lacking in the digital world.. I have some by audobon society but they aren't user friendly

A great book for finding the ID of plants in your area is Plants of Coastal BC, including Washington, Oregon and Alaska by Pojar and Mackinnon. I love it. There are a few scientific names which have changed since it was published but it has so much great information right in your backpack!
