Description:

I was very surprised to see that an American toad (Bufo americanus) was mating with the large Green Frog that hangs out around my fish pond. Or should I say attempting to mate, I think the Green Frog is actually a male due to the size of his tympanum.

Isn't it? I read that male toads have a release chirp in case of being mounted, but I suppose the Green Frog doesn't know toad lingo, lol.
