Field Notes

Description:

Wrens can sometimes be hard to ID. Bewick's is one of the easier ones. With it's long brown and barred tail, light colored throat and bold light colored line over the eye. The song can even help with the ID. These wrens are bolder and less shy then other species of wrens.

Habitat:

Near the coast. The plant the wren is on is poison oak.
