Description:
Little Egrets have black bills, black legs and yellow feet and this one was wading in a fresh water pond looking for fish or small frogs until it saw me taking its photo which is when it decided to take flight. There was only this one at this location.
Habitat:
seen in a large pond where the river either started or ended in an area away from the town with no developments surrounding it. Altea. Spain.
