Description:

Asphodelus aestivus is an evergreen Perennial growing to 1 m. It is a decidious plant with simple leaves. The leaves appear at the base of the plant. They are mid green and linear with entire margins.
The flowers are star-shaped and hermaphrodite (have both male and female organs). The fruits are loculicidal capsules.
