Field Notes

Description:

Skinny caterpillar, 3cms long. The caterpillar was well camouflaged (the camera flash made it look more yellow than it actually was) even down to the longitudinal striations which looked like the parallel venation of the Guinea grass.

Habitat:

Spotted on Guinea grass (Urochloa maxima) at James Cook University, Cairns QLD
