Common Pheasant

Spotted in 文化公园, the "Culture Park" in Xining City. Completely unexpected after a 20-minute jaunt in the park with only magpies and young couples (people) for company. I didn't even see any sparrows.

A few minutes before six, a couple of doves and a brownish bird with red blew past in a gust of wind. Otherwise, not too much exciting in yesterday's late-Xining afternoon.
